Hi, my name is April. I'm a breast cancer survivor and a patient. I can’t say enough about Dr. Leis. She’s kind, compassionate, supportive, accomplished. She listened to my concerns and that of my husband. She's never been condescending. Her heart is in her work. You’ll feel that almost immediately after meeting her. She’s a pediatric plastic surgeon, too. I think that speaks volumes about her patience. I feel like she put me back together after cancer. You'll LOVE her! Just go see her!

My experience and continuing care with Dr Leis is nothing short of extraordinary. She is a perfectionist with the kindness of an angel. My wife is a physician as well so I am constantly in the company of medical professionals but Dr. Leis is special, very special.

If you were to create an image of a perfect doctor, it would be Dr. Leis. She's highly competent, compassionate, patient, kind and honest. She helped me through a difficult time of breast reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy. Her intelligence and skill gave me great peace. Her compassion and concern for me as a person was truly amazing. She and my breast surgeon worked late into the night to fit my surgery into their schedules because it was a priority to them. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Leis has performed two operations on my right arm, both to remove tumors growing along the nerve. Dr. Leis has a gentle and relaxing bedside manner that put my wife and I at ease immediately. Her skills as a surgeon are evident in the outcome - she has excised multiple tumors from my forearm with no peripheral damage to my nerves or arm/hand function. Dr. Leis is truly gifted and I am lucky to have met her and to have her as my surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Leis.

The very worst in a not great profession. Terrible bed side manner and deep ignorance of her chosen field. She told me that she had "10 out of 10 confidence" that my implants were not causing my pain or autoimmune issues. Hahahaha. That's not even supported by scientific studies. Of course they were, which my intelligent surgeons proved when they removed them. She also wouldn't touch or examine me, told me I w

Dr. Leis is smart, caring, attentive, responsive, and clearly so skilled at what she does. She performed two surgeries on my 1 year old daughter for polydactyly on both her feet. She was so great with my little one and made sure she spent the time with us to answer all our questions and put us at ease. She called me back immediately when I had questions or concerns and made our follow up visits a priority. We felt she was our constant partner in this experience- and my daughter looks great!

Dr Leis treated my 2 year old son’s severed tendon following a freak scissors accident. My husband & I were immediately put at ease the moment we spoke with Dr Leis (which is not easy when your baby is about to be wheeled off to emergency surgery). She was very knowledgeable, experienced, and comforting. She met with us immediately after the surgery and gave us a full breakdown of the injury, what she did, & what to expect. It’s been less than 3 mos now & our son is healed. Dr Leis is amazing!!

I saw Dr. Leis for reconstruction following breast cancer. She is one of the loveliest people I've met, much less one of the loveliest doctors! My breast surgeon said she is one of the only plastic surgeons she is willing to work with. She gave me options, answered my questions and my husband's, made sure I was comfortable, and encouraged a second opinion. I never had a long wait in her office, and her nurse practitioner is just as nice.

I did several consultations with different plastic surgeons to discuss my breast reconstruction. I was very nervous, worried that I'd look too fake and 'done'. After meeting with Dr Leis I was ready to proceed and could not have been happier with my results ! The new girls, as my friend Todd calls them, look fabulous. From the first consultation with her to the morning of surgery I knew that she was the right surgeon to make me feel whole again. And I love her staff!
