I had my sigmoid colon removed and a piece of intestine with diverticulosis in it. The doctor was great very friendly always ready with an answer and an explanation. I had been to other doctors who just wanted to kept kind of giving me the run around. Dr Peter called me after my initial appointment where I have home my files, at 6:30 or 7 in the evening. I missed the call called back and sure enough not 5 minutes later he was back on the phone. Explaining what he saw and told me we can definitely help it, and asked me to make a pre-op appointment with him. Wow I thought just wow he understood this had been an issue for just under 2 years I would give my right eye at this point to not feel sick and work through it for just one day. And here this guy calls me in the evening he had been looking through my stuff at home even. I felt like he actually cared. Great Dr and I hope he would mind me calling him somewhat of a friend at this point. Thanks Doc from the bottom of my heart!

I had a left inguinal hernia repair by Dr. Peter. There was essentially no pain. I didn't even take an aspirin. He performed robotic surgery. I traveled from Syracuse, after getting 5 surgical consults here. None were as well qualified. I'm glad that I made the trip.

excellent explaining before surgery. great job repairing my hernia fantastic attention to detail- found a problem with my bowel that has caused problems for several years. yes i believe he CAN walk on water;

Dr. Peter is excellent! My son had a condition called pilonidal abscess. Dr Peter is very knowledgeable and ahead of his peers when it comes to treatment for this. We traveled 5 hours to see Dr. Peter because we wanted a procedure he performs. His knowledge, expertise, willingness to listen, kindness, and caring attitude all help make him outstanding! He has many good years of experience. I can honestly say every interaction we had Dr. Peter, his nurse and office staff was great!!

My total experience with Dr Peter and his staff was first class. From the receptionist to his nurse to Dr. Peter himself, I was treated with respect and dignity. My time waiting in the reception area was minimal and taken on time. Dr. Peter throughly explained everything that was going to happen and answered all my questions. It was refreshing to have a Doctor take his time and not make me feel as if he were rushed but really cared.

I had the fortune of having Dr Peter perform my emergency surgery on me. He was very informative and upfront informing me of my situation and what needed to be done. He has excellent pre-op and post op manors and his time estimates was right on target. Explains the procedure very detailed and has excellent bed side manors. He truly cares about his patients. We had a long trip home and his follow up call to make sure the trip well good was truly special. You would be lucky to have him as a doctor

I have had three surgeries by Dr Peter. I have always felt that I was in the best hands possible. His bed side manor is the greatest. he always spoke in words that I could understand when he was explaining what procedure was going to be done. I have never had any issues when anyone that works with or for him. I hope he stays in this area for a long time.

I would highly recommend Dr. Peter to friends, family, etc. I was referred to this office by my primary physician for a cholecystectomy. Before and after surgery, the staff, as well as Dr. Peter, were friendly, courteous, and always willing to answer any questions I had. Definitely an awesome surgeon and staff. Overall, I had a great experience!

Dr. Peter is a excellent surgeon. He did three different surgeries on me in the last year. He explain everything to me and took time to talk to me about my surgeries. He even took time to speak to me about my weight problem and thanks to him I have lost a total of 114 pounds. I have recommended Dr. Peter to my sister and my mother who have both had surgeries by Dr. Peter Thank you Dr Peter for everything

Dr. Peter himself is fine, however due to his office staff I will not be recommending anyone to him nor will I or my family member be returning as patients. When you call about a surgery Dr. Peter performed the staff doesn't ask about symptoms doesn't ask any questions, doesn't look up the patients chart nothing literally says there is nothing we can do. Not one recommendation not let me speak to a nurse or him just pretty much take your business else where so that we will!!
