Dr. Amar Hamad is an amazing doctor. He is one of few doctors who are familiar with Mast Cell Diseases in our area. He is straight to the point with results and communicated well our plan for further tests. I am grateful to be in his care.
in Palos Hills, IL |
The continue of care was done by the nurse practitioner and the RN Treatment nurses who administered the chemotherapy. Dr. Hamad is not honest and straight forward regarding progress of treatment. I say this because my father was loosing weight and not wanting to eat. My mom and myself were not aware that the cancer was rapidly spreading, Dr. Hamad never communicated this to us. Three weeks later my father passed away. The gastroenterologist in the hospital said father would be to weak for chemo
When I walked in for my appointment he walked out, I waited in the waiting area about 40 minutes they were not even busy, then I waited in the room for about 20 minutes to hear him tell his nurse practitioner to see me. This is the second time I saw her when I've made appointment s to see him, that's just rude, I don't want to see a practitioner I want to see the dr I started out seeing, if didnt want to accommodate me then he should state that instead of just passing me off and not discuss w/me
