Dr. Bajwa's bio
This content was provided by Dr. Bajwa "I am a Board Certified Family Medicine doctor and have been in practice since 2012. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, but decided to see other parts of the world for my medical training. After attending the American University in Antigua for Medical School, I completed my residency training at the University of Cincinnati, Clinton Memorial Hospital. During my residency I was elected, by my peers, Chief Resident of Family Practice. Once I completed my Board Certification, I went to work for North Penn Comprehensive Health Centers in Wellsboro, PA , where only a year and a half later, was promoted to Medical Director. Because I realized that I needed my family, who still live in the Bay Area, just as much as they needed me, my husband and two sons moved back to California. We love being back in California, spending lots of family time together in the outdoors."
This content was provided by Dr. Bajwa "I decided to go into medicine because of my interest in how the human body works and found it fascinating how our many systems and processes all function together. In addition, I wanted to learn more about medicine because of my personal experiences with family members and their chronic medical conditions. I grew up with a cousin who has Duchenne's muscular dystrophy and as his disease progresses, it fuels my drive to go out and help folks, help themselves. He taught me to always appreciate life no matter tries to hold you back! Thus, it is important to me to work with my patients and listen to their needs so I can best manage their medical health as their partner."
