An amazing surgeon!
Dr. Gans has done two surgeries on me. I hold her to the standard of dr woods who saved my life and has done all of my surgeries. She’s definitely one that listens and explains. Her bedside manner is spot on. Over all I’ve always had great encounters with her!

I highly suggest you do your homework before choosing this surgeon ! CT Scan /Ultrasound Clearly showed i have a Hernia. She shows up almost an hour late to surgery. does the surgery and then when i wake up , she tells my wife. " We didn't find anything and that she doesn't know what the big knot on my groin is. Lets just send him to pain management. " SERIOUSLY ??? So I go have an ultrasound ,the ultrasound clearly shows a hernia. So now I'm at a different surgeon getting ready to schedule another hernia repair for what should have been completed the first time ! She was very smug/cocky and you could tell by her expressions she doesn't care about you. I highly advise if you referred to DR. Alyssa Gan's ( Wright State Physicians ) you find another surgeon immediately ! I have every Dr visit note/summary and scan to prove I have a hernia that needs repaired. Also the notes where she claims that the CT scan doesn't say anything about a hernia, when it clearly says "tiny Fat contain hernias'" on the CT scan

Dr. Gans is honest, attentive, and a great doctor. She removed my gallbladder under "emergency" necessity. Her many visits to my bedside and her ability to answer all questions and clarify what occurred during surgery were great. The visit to her office to have the bile bag removed was fast and easy.
