I've seen LOTS of different doctors over the years, and frankly I haven't had many I liked. I've found most doctor's generally disrespect and disbelieve me, but not so Dr. Rittman. She listened and she gave me the respect to believe what I told her and order the appropriate tests. I finally feel heard and respected, and I actually believe she's on the right track of figuring out what's wrong with me.

Not having a family doctor for some time, I have been gun shy about looking. Well, I hit the jackpot with Dr. Rittmann. She is relaxed, knowledgeable and might just have a good sense of humor. I have had to interact with many doctors over the past 45 years (was married to a juvenile diabetic, parents that lived to be 90 + and 2 battles with cancer myself). So I can speak from experience...I like her.

Easy to talk to, listenss to your problems

I agree with all of the 1 stars on here. She is uncaring, condescending and rude. Dr. Rittmann I hope you know I am not the only one with this complaint and if you don't change you will not be able to be a Dr in the future because you will have NO patients! ? :)

Great staff both in reception and nursing. I recently switched to Dr. Rittman when I moved here. She is never friendly, condescending, she didn't even introduce herself on the first visit. She does the opposite of what her nurse tells me on the phone. The doctor is completely unfeeling, uncaring about any issues, she didn't listen to my problems, and when I brought up that she want helping at all and she actually chuckled. I felt like they had me come in for no reason.
Schaumburg, IL |
Impersonal. Didn't seem to be really listening. Felt that she talked down to me. Saw her for a specific illness but am looking for a new doctor. Was not favorably impressed.
