This content was provided by Dr. Yeroushalmi "Dr. Yeroushalmi is a Board-certified Ophthalmologist, specializing in Advanced Cataract Surgery and Corneal diseases. He was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. He attended the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with honors receiving both a B.S. from the highly regarded School of Engineering and Applied Science, and a B.S.E. from the prestigious Wharton School of Business. He received an academic scholarship to attend medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by an Ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. He received his fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has held faculty appointments at the internationally-recognized Wilmer Eye Institute of the John Hopkins School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical Center where he has mentored and taught students including supervising their surgeries. He has presented at numerous meetings on topics ranging from laser eye surgery to refractive eye surgery techniques. Dr. Yeroushalmi is highly proficient at diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions including cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. He is subspecialty trained in advanced cataract surgical techniques, laser eye surgeries such as LASIK and PRK and corneal transplantation. Dr. Yeroushalmi is available full-time for both Comprehensive ophthalmology, Cornea and Advanced Cataract consultation to provide expert, compassionate care to patients."
