After going to a different orthopedic surgeon and not having the best experience I decided to try Dr. Borne. The staff and organization were excellent. Friendly and very eager to assist in every way. There was hardly any wait time which was very rare now a days! Dr. Borne explained everything that was being done in detail so that there were no questions. He never appeared rushed or anxious to move on to the next patient. We would highly recommend this doctor and staff along with the Physicians Surgical center -

I would highly recommend. Dr. Borne! His honesty and attitude instill trust. He took his time in explaining what had happened to my hand and the procedure he could use to repair it. He showed me on an ultrasound the tendons he would use for the repair. I chose the wide awake surgery. Anesthesia at my age was concerning for me. I was completely comfortable. He kept me informed during the entire surgery. I listened to my music and had a nurse sitting right by my head at all times. This totally took the guesswork out of it. I knew by moving my thumb and index finger before he closed the cut, that it was a success. I experienced no pain. I left the operating room and within ten minutes was dressing to leave. I was clear headed with none of the side effects of anesthesia! To know a surgeon is willing to have you awake and hearing everything that's going on, such transparency!, instills so much trust. I didn't feel at his mercy, but that we were working together.

From day one when I went in for my visit with Dr. Borne I felt like they really cared about my health. He took all the time in the world to explain to me what ways wrong and gave me my options to fix the problem. I choose to go with surgery to fix my injury. The surgery and the care after was great. A truly great experience.

My husband had his middle finger partially amputated along with tendon and nerve damage to his index and ring fingers. Dr. Borne was able to reattach his middle finger and fix all the damage to his other fingers. I am very pleased with not only his service but also the service of his office staff. Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond what most every other doctors offices do. I would highly recommend them!

I was referred to Dr. Borne by another doctor who was worried about 2 of my fingers. The bones were nearly protruding through my skin (due to arthritis). From the moment Dr. Borne started explaining my options,I had total confidence in his abilities. I chose to have surgery, and he explained every step/possible outcome of the procedure. After just a few days of healing, I had no pain at all in my fingers, and after about two months, I could use my hand again. Follow up care has been excellent.??

I knew what to expect going in because he took the time with me to explain everything, pre & post surgery. He was really concerned with the outcome as much as I was.
