What People Say About Dr. Allan Pickens, MD
Reply
Dr. Pickens was an end of the road option for me. As a 10 year survivor of esophogeal cancer I had developed over time several Zenkers Divutriculum's. that restricted my ability to swallow. I had signs of aspiration and early lung disease. All previous physicians indicated that surgery was much too risky and that my best option was to live with the condition. The surgery was successful! I feel as if I've experienced a miracle! I have no carry over symptoms. Dr. Pickens is the best!

My husband was referred to Dr. Pickens following a frightening diagnosis of cancer of the esophagus. This brilliant and gifted surgeon was open and honest with us about his condition while at the same time demonstrating a spirit of compassion and concern toward us. During my husband's two hospitalizations, he saw Dr. Pickens and his residents daily. My husband continues to receive excellent follow-up care, support, and encouragement from Dr. Pickens and his outstanding medical team.
