I am very excited about any possibility that catapults me to a level of effecting care at a regional, national or even global level. I hope to join a team committed to the development of a model of care that will provide an optimal level of mental and physical health and provide the highest quality of life and the most meaningful life for our country's population. I am equally passionate about fighting ageist stereotypes, unfounded in research in aging including the false belief that quality of life inevitably deteriorates in old age. As a personal example I hope to continue my work in the medical field past the typical time of retirement and do hope that the lifestyle I currently promote and follow myself will allow me to achieve this goal.
