What People Say About Dr. Alison Weidner, MD

First, beware of the reviews that are posted by Duke. I complained about the horrible appointment I had with Dr. Weidner and they deactivated the "give us your thoughts on this Doctor" poll that one gets in their email after an appointment. This means the survey results on Duke's site are grossly unreliable in that they omit the negatives. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! I went to a urologist who REALLY disagreed with her conclusions. He was right. Wiedner has a rep of rudeness and it is true

Saw Dr. Wiedner for surgery. She explained the process thoroughly to both my husband and myself using a computer showing how the surgery would be performed. When I went for the surgery, I was completely taken care of and the post op was as easy as it could have been with very little discomfort. She was recommended by a friend whose mother, aunt and neighbor had all been to her with successful results. I would recommend her to anyone in need of gynecological surgery.

I only met Dr. Weidner once for a consult, but I thought she was wonderful. Very personable, listened well, explained things clearly. My regular gynecologist who I love said Dr. Weidner has an excellent reputation among her peers too. I can see why, as I felt very confident she would take great care of me.
