I did not see Dr Chen. I thought I had an appointment with her but only got to see her NP. This is the worst run office and information that I have ever seen. They had moved their office yet no one bothered to tell people and we were all going to the office that Dr Chen STILL has listed on the internet! Was able to make appointment on website but girl at desk said, "we can't do physical today because there is not enough time; we don't use the website" Then I gave NP RX for back brace that primary had to send to Humana for authorization. I explained to NP what to do with it and why. A week later I called and receptionist said, I have it right here. We didn't know what to do with it." They HAD MY phone number but did not once try to call me. When I did get them to send it they just picked a medical supply that does not even offer back braces so I was back to square one. This doctor needs to pay attention to what is going on in her front office.

Dr Chen accepted me as a new patient in 2003 after I had a bad experience with another doctor. She has been outstanding. Not only does she listen to my concerns she also does a great job diagnosing issues. In 2007 I was experiencing foot drop and she methodically worked through test results to not only find the reason for the foot drop but also found I had Multiple Myeloma. The oncologist she referred me to was stunned she found it because I was only 45 at the time. He told me. OUTANDING DOC

Dropped me as an insured patient of over 10+ years with no reason given by sending me a "Dear John" letter last summer. Trusted her with my healthcare for 10 years thinking we had a good doctor/patient relationship, but in the end there was a breach of trust. I endured long wait times, billing errors, and lab order errors to stay w/ this practice only to get dropped. Now in my late 40's I am without a doctor & have had two major health issues since being dropped w/ no doctor to counsel with~Sad

Dr. Chen is ok. Her office is nice. Staff is cordial. It always took me weeks to get in for routine stuff and they cancelled on me 3 times for a pap. I eventually had to be referred out. Recently got a dear john letter ceasing my care "effective immediately" with no explanation. Pretty low in my opinion especially when you have a medical condition requiring a close relationship with your doctor. I wasn't aware docs picked and choosed but I guess how well your insurance pays is the key!

I was a patient of Dr. Chen for approximately 12 + years. I did not receive a phone call or talked to by any staff or Dr. Chen herself about any problems. I was dropped by letter by Dr. Chen with no explanation. I had trusted her with not only my health but my sons. I will be sending a letter to the Insurance Commissioner and with the Florida Medical Board.
