My Gastroenterologist sent me to “the specialist’s specialist”, Dr. Ali Khan, to aspirate a cyst that was in an unusual, painful, and tricky location. Since the norm was to just meet the doctor right before the procedure (no office) I was nervous. But Dr. Ali Khan called me (he was on vacation!). He explained the procedure in detail and not only answered all my questions but answered some I had not thought of. I had to have the procedure done twice (months apart) in order to relieve the pain enough to give me time to find a doctor that had removed a cyst in the area mine was in. Dr. Ali Khan not only suggested the doctor I used but called me after the surgery to check up on me. He is a VERY caring doctor that truly cares about his patients. I felt very lucky to have been in his care.

Dr. Khan was one of my mother’s many healthcare and surgeon providers during her hospital stay with a rare esophagus issue. He checked in on her and our family three times a day, including a holiday weekend. His expression of love and compassion for my mother and our family was over the top. He calmly explained step by step each stage we had reached in her illness. This all while performing many back to back surgeries on other folks over holiday weekend. He wanted folks well - back home ASAP
