dr. steinberger has been awesome to me. recently had a discectomy and he was quick to give advice as to procedures/precautions/etc. very glad i chose him for my procedure - a clear expert in the field! really enjoyed working with his staff and post-op has been great thus far. meetings with him are quite quick, given that he’s likely very busy with other patients. frankly haven’t dealt with other neuros prior, but will definitely be recommending him to my peers.

The visit after my surgery was a bonus!! He saved my life!! I had a brain bleed and as soon as he saw my CT scan at he ER, he didn’t wait. He performed surgery right away!! From the cutting/shaving of my hair to the stitches, believe me, he did the best a doctor could do for his patient!! His team followed up on me ASAP. He visited me the very next morning at the ICU. Dr. Steinberger had many patients two weeks after my visit, but he explained to me clearly what he did. Most of all, he was very positive and happy for me!! Thank you, Dr. Steinberger ??????

Update on my L4-S1 lumbar decompression, fusion and instrumentation surgery with Dr. Steinberger. Its been 7 months since my surgery and it’s a whole nee world. So thankful for Dr. Steinberger and his awesome staff. Damaris The Nurse Practitioner is great, the xray tech is great, front desk team are great. Dr. Steinberger truly knows what he is doing and I am so grateful I had him as my surgeon. I can walk, sit for longer than 15 minutes, I do not have horrible pain or numbness, and just overall have a better quality of life.

I was having bad back issues for about 4 years. I tried a chiropractor, physical therapy, Physiatrists (Pain Management), bilateral epidural, pilates, yoga, And acupuncture but nothing worked and my back got worse. Surgery with Dr. Steinberger was the best thing! I wish I did this sooner rather than have years of pain, discomfort, and giving up things I love... plus gaining weight by not being able to be active. Dr. Steinberger, Nurse Rivera and the team were great. They explained my MRI and provided me choices. The Dr. provided details on the lumbar surgery and they all worked with me and my insurance. I felt an immediate difference after surgery. Its been a month and im 90% better. The other 10% is just the recover period which is much more manageable than the pain and discomfort ai had before surgery. The doctor, Nurse, and overall office gets 5 stars no doubt. So thankful. This has already changed my life for better.

Dr. Steinberger was reassuring and only operated on me when there wasn't another alternative. The wait time for appointments is minimal and the staff is friendly. I owe the use of my arm to Dr. Steinberger.

Patients suffering and in need of alleviating acute pain, BE WARE!!!!!! Dr. Steinberger is the worst physician I have ever encountered. Rude, obnoxious, inpatient, grossly negligent of his duties. Never looked at my numerous and detailed reports, my CDs or X-RAY studies. "SUMMARIZED" my condition on the run, distracted, abrupt and grossly unprofessional. He should be booted out of the medical profession and relegated to working at STOP & SHOP. I wouldn't bring my dog to him. LEE GARDON

Dr. Steinberger was rude to my 84 year old mother. He has a horrible bedside manner. He was rushing her out of the room couldn’t be bothered because as he stated “ I ONLY do the big stuff”. Only cares if the patient needs surgery. DO NOT USE HES HORRIBLE SHAME OJ HIM TO TREAT AN 84 year old so badly

Dr. Alfred Steinberger performed (ACDF) surgery to remove a herniated / degenerative disc in my neck. Was VERY pleased with results! Best decision I ever made! While the procedure was a bit scary to me & I was worried about the recovery - the results outweighed ALL of my concerns. No more stiffness, less headaches - no more numbness in my arms & fingers! Surgery was without any complications & scar is VERY minimal! Highly recommend this superbly skilled neurosurgeon!

Dr. Steinberger was the 3rd of my opinions for serious back surgery I was facing. I was rewarded by the most comprehensive exam of any I had experienced. Dr. Steinberger reviewed my CD's with other neurosurgeons in the practice and spoke to me and my husband very concisely about my issues and corrective procedures. He inspires confidence. I underwent a 4-level lumbar fusion with laminectomies and am doing beautifully! Highly recommended!

Horrible experience. Was in acute pain from back injury and the office manager told me that they only accept cash and no credit cards and that I had to pay before I was seen. She said that the doctor was out of network and the visit was $150. which I agreed to pay. I told her I would mail a check a soon as I got back home but she made a big deal about it. She insisted I drive myself to an ATM! I was in such pain! Dr. Steinberger just left and said that was their policy. No compassion!
