Great Doctor
Dr. Myers is a great doctor that listens to her patients. She appears caring and responds to questions quickly through MyChart. Office visits do feel super rushed and she is always late, prepare to wait for her in an exam room for up to 45 mins. That being said, she gives you her full attention once she is there. The staff at the office in Sorrento Valley is amazing. The front desk staff at the Urgent Care in PB could not be more disagreeable. Their apathy and terrible attitude always makes me wonder if I am better off waiting for an appointment in the Sorrento Valley office. The times I've been there the front desk staff does not even look up to greet you or while they speak to you. The front desk staff also asks urgent care patients to explain loudly the reason for the visit while other patients are sitting in the lobby within earshot. It is also cringey and awkward having to listen to other patients explain their ailments.

Dr Meyers is a standard that Docs should hold themselves to. Her sincerity is something that can't be taught. She might be running a couple mins behind--which we all are--but its because she was spending time with someone that needed them, and guaranteed you'll get them, too. Office staff is a different story, but she's phenomenal.

Dr. Myers was my primary care physician during the time I lived in San Diego. She took the time to understand my medical conditions, history, prescribed appropriate tests and medications, and followed up on the progress. She is a clear communicator and explained the diagnosis, procedures and the treatment plan in great detail. I trust and recommend Dr. Myers as an excellent physician.

Dr. Myers is an excellent doctor to to work with if you are a proactive patient. She respects that I want to be involved in my health management and has authorized tests, etc. that I requested. She is also knowledgeable about local specialists if a referral is needed. She responds to emailed questions quickly. She actively listens to my concerns and I have never felt rushed during an appointment. She understands that wellness involves the whole person.
