Above and beyond on patient education
Dr. Voljavec goes above and beyond to educate patients and gives incredibily detailed answers and perspectives. He's also the kind of doctor thats passionate about the science and research that drives his diagnoses & treatment plans. He also gives great health advice beyond the reason for visit that has served me for years. Great and friendly personality as well. He's a cerebral person for sure, so some of the negative reveiws below are more a reflection of patient preferences. These are patients who just want a doctor who will make small talk about mundane topics (e.g., the weather) and write a prescription. If you like to learn and want thoughtful treatment plans this is your guy. If you're not the type of person like to think or be challenged with new information, there are plenty of doc in a box facilities that would be happy to treat you as directed by you. Someone telling you what they know is not a "know-it-all", they're an expert and that is precisely why you're payting them.

Have been a patient for years ....not anymore . He should try and contact his office ....impossible . I had to drive there to speak with someone . Doors were locked . I have made excuses for years about the poor patient service he provides . Some of the people that work there are rude and don't care about meeting patients needs . Average wait to see doctor is at best 30 minutes past appointment time ...at best .

Is this guy really a doctor? He acts like a 10th grade biology teacher. Very officious. Not much personality and doesn’t seem to want to know his patients.

Dr seems indifferent to patient needs; doesn’t listen. Didactic, know it all. Hard to get needed rxs. Poor attitudes. Staff turnover.

It’s apparent from the post that Dr Voljavec is smart. We saw that today when we visited but you should also know he’s a very good listener and very thorough. He constantly checked in asking us if we had any other questions or concerns. While having blood drawn there my son became ill ( not a reflection on the process) what impressed me was how the entire staff sprung into action to help my son and Dr. Voljavec kept checking on him.
