My wife had an appointment with Dr Sorin this week. This was our first visit. Waited for about 20 minutes which was okay for us. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We waited in the trtmnt room. When Dr Sorin came in, he looked at us for a moment. Serious. No introduction or greeting, no eye contact. There was no human connection.

I went with my wife to see Dr Sorin. This was the first time we went to see him. He seemed clinically competent and may be an expert. His staff was friendly from reception to discharge. However, Dr. Sorin demonstrated no human connection. He did not greet nor did he intro self. There was no eye contact. He came to the treatment room, looked at the computer screen and asked questions without looking at the patient. Not sure if he did not get a good impression from our look. Too bad.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sorin for 2 years now. Dr. Sorin is by far the best ENT I have been lucky enough to find. After many years of dealing with persistent ear problems, Dr. Sorin diagnosed and corrected the problem in 1 visit. He is thorough, caring and extremely competent. The office staff are a pleasure to deal with and have always been and courteous. I cannot recommend Dr. Sorin and his office highly enough.

in Bellerose, NY |
The office staff was very efficient and the wait time was minimal. Dr. Sorin was very professional and answered all my questions clearly. I left with all the information I needed to know.
in Bellmore, NY |
I liked the fact that I Dr. Sorin actually hears you when you speak to him and doesn't just dismiss your opinion on what be wrong
Bayside, NY |
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Sorin. He performed sinus surgery on me. Ever since I have been unable to smell and when I blow my nose air comes out of my tear duct. The hospital, St. Francis, was equally horrible. I waited 4 hours for my one hour procedure which took Dr. Sorin 5 hours. No one informed my husband that it was taking longer than expected leaving him worried and alone. Dr. Sorin had no idea what he was doing. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.
in Port Washington, NY |
Dr. Sorin treated my son for recurrent tonsillitis. He took out his tonsils when nothing else seemed to help- and he is doing great now. He was very considerate with my son who was very nervous - and he reassured me that everything would work out fine. I always recommend him and thin he's a great dr.
in Elmhurst, NY |
Dr Sorin was very against sending me for an MRI. He was very much in favor of giving me an injection into my eardrum for a hearing loss issue. I pushed for the MRI which he finally sent me for. The MRI showed a benign tumor in my head. His injection would not have cured this!

Similar to the other reviews, I felt very unwelcome with a 6 year-old son who has frequent nose bleeds and had to have his nose cauterized. I don't know why he even advertise as pediatric ENT...we pay a lot of money just to see doctors. I strongly suggest you spend your time and money else where. Dr. Sorin, please speak up and try to be more articulate. A touch of compassion will be nice too. If you continue to see people.
