Dr. Lee has been treating me for chronic pain due to disk disease, stenosis and osteoarthritis of the spine. He shows concern for me not only as a patient, but as a whole person in need of personal care. He has referred me to cutting edge programs in non-invasive pain management involving both mind and body. As my condition has degenerated, he has made excellent suggestions and guided me with sensitivity.

Excellent bedside manner and clinical skill. Spent time explaining clinical finding and listen to my concerns.
Dr. Lee and his fellow were extremely courteous, respectful, and intelligent. They listened carefully and addressed all of my concerns and promptly diagnosed me while reassuring me and clearly describing the course of treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. Lee's Care Philosophy

My practice focus is on Interventional Physiatry which entails all nonoperative treatment of spine related pain. I recently joined Mount Sinai in 2013 after serving over 15 years as an attending physician and partner at the Spine Institute of Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. Our general philosophy is to individualize care to each patient using a comprehensive, multidiscplinary team approach.
