What People Say About Dr. Alexander Klufas, MD
RecentMost Helpful
He treated my aunt at Naamans Creek Manor. I use the term treated loosely because he only sees the patients there after 11 PM, when they're asleep. My aunt was complaining of abdominal pain, which he treated with maalox. When she continued to deteriorate, we had her transferred to Riddle, where they discovered a raging E Coli infection that nearly killed her. Her bladder was filled with pus. She was in a coma for days. Lab work would have revealed this but we were dealing with a careless and uncaring physician

If you don't keep him on track as to WHY you're there, he starts to talk about anything & everything BESIDES why youre there! I complained about a sore throat & he pulled out his cell phone, turned on the flashlight & proceeded to look down my throat while standing about 3 feet away! Totally unprofessional! I only go there to get my usual scripts refilled or to TELL him what meds I want for whatever brought me in there.

Not only is Dr. Klufas disbelieving, condescending, or prone to looking out of the window while pretending to listen; he actually said to my father during his doctors visit months after my visit “it must be hard to deal with a wife and daughter who fake sick all of the time”. My father who has seen our sickness gave Dr. Klufas an earful about our authenticity and his unprofessionalism and we found a new doctor who was able to diagnose us properly and get us on the road to health.

Rude, condescending and unable to listen. I was very willing to overlook the appearance of the office and his appearance, but he was the worst doctor I have seen outside of an ER.
