I have been a patient of Doctor Hantel for a very long time. I was diagnosed with iron deficient anemia way back in 2007. I saw several doctors at several hospitals in the years that followed but my anemia never became stabilized and predictable (without blood transfusions) until I went to Edward Hospital and Doctor Hantel took charge. Our relationship has been sometimes stormy because of my indifference. However, the Doctor never relented. I am definitely healthier today because of him. He is a good doctor, he knows his business, and we will always share a lifelong bond.

Dr. Hantel is an incredible doctor. My husband has stage 4 esophageal cancer. His biopsies showed no evidence of cancer but Dr. Hantel instinctively didn't believe it. If he had just taken the test at face value my husband would most likely not still be with us. Dr. Hantel kept pushing and testing until the truth was revealed. My husband has beaten the odds for a 1 1/2 years and continues to fight. We can't thank Dr. Hantel enough for his expertise, persistence and compassion!

My 86 year old father was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia over a year ago, in another state. When my Dad came to visit for the summer, he suffered pneumonia, and 2 months later, fractured his hip. While at Edward's hospital, he was seen by the wonderful Dr. Hantel. Not only is he an excellent Doctor, he also speaks flawless Russian, which helped my Dad a lot. There's a lot more to say, but I have limited space. So, big Thanks to this wonderful Doctor and Man!!!

Unfortunately the receptionist was very rude and for a new diagnosis of cancer she was not very helpful or considerate. Made an appointment but am canceling because of this. Would hate to see how your treated after being a patient there.
