Dr. Boye-Doe earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School in 1970. He did internships in Internal Medicine and General Surgery and a residency in Pediatrics and Obstetrics at the University of Ghana. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He has special expertise in high risk obstetrics, infertility, advanced laparoscopic surgery and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Boye-Doe has provided educational workshops to the women of Lorain County and recently participated in a fund-raising concert for the Lorain County Medical Society for the purpose of educational programs. He has also gone beyond the borders of the United States collecting medical supplies and equipment for a medical mission to Ghana, West Africa.
He is on the board of the Lorain County Medical Society and works with Family Planning Services in Elyria.
He is also a member of The Ohio State Medical Association, The American Medical Association, and The Cleveland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Boye-Doe began private practice in Lorain in 1980 where he continues to provide compassionate obstetric and gynecologic care to the women of Lorain County.
He currently resides in Amherst with his wife Agnes.
