Dr. Black is a terrible doctor. I have iron deficiency (without anemia) he kept saying that I don't have iron deficiency anemia because my hemoglobin is normal! Duh, I have iron deficiency without anemia insistent that it's the same thing. He also wrote in his notes that he did an exam that included checking my lymph nodes, lungs, bowel sounds and palpating my abdomen. His exam stated that I do not have purpura or petechiae when in fact I have lots of petechiae. He did nothing he said he did. If he would have taken the time to ask me (and actually do the exam he said he did) he would have known that my lymph node in my neck & my groin are swollen & tender, his exam consisted of a one second slide of his finger across my neck, no other exams were done! If you are looking for a doc that does not listen to your concerns & is ego driven, then go see him If you want a doctor that cares see someone else.

Dr. Black and his staff have been helping my son since he was diagnosed with Cancer. You have no idea how difficult those words are to hear unless you have been there. I can't tell you how many times I've recited the parent's prayer. Dr. Black has always been very straightforward. He shoots from the hip and does not sugarcoat any news. The last thing I wanted was a doctor not being real and giving my family and me false hope. Dr. Black is incredible and to be commended.
