Dr. Fokin is an excellent physician and has an excellent staff. Dr. Fokin assessed the pain that I was experiencing in both of my knees and determined it was patella-femoral syndrome. He explained what patella-femoral syndrome is and provided me with a packet which contained all the necessary exercises I needed to do to resolve the knee pain. In addition, he prescribed physical therapy sessions which helped my knees tremendously. I followed both Dr. Fokin and the physical therapists’ guidance and got excellent results. My knee pain is gone, and I now understand how to maintain / take care of my knees as an avid runner. I am very grateful for both Dr. Fokin and his staff.

Yes I would recommend Dr Fokin, is a good orthopedic surgeon. I had a very bad humerus fracture from a fall playing pickleball. Dr Fokin had to place plate with screws, I was not happy with hardware placement, but had to have it due to the severity of the fracture. My goal was to get better and get back playing pickleball. I am healing very nicely at 3.5 months with no complications. I have followed and worked hard following Dr Fokin’s postop and rehab instructions, which has helped with a speedier recovery. Hope to be back to pickleball soon. Dr Fokin did a great job., he knows his stuff. Thank you..

Doctor Alex Fokin is an excellent orthopedist despite being so young; His knowledge and experience make him one of the best doctors in his specialty, in South Florida, not only for his accurate diagnoses but also for the way he treats his patients. In addition to that, his success is complemented by the great team of people around him, especially the secretaries that schedule the appointments and follow up the treatments, therapies, and medications of every patient, making us feel unique and special, before, during, and after the consultation with doctor Fokin

Dr. Fokin saw me in the emergency room after I fell and broke my wrist. He was thorough and compassionate, explained everything and answered all my questions. I have followed up with him after surgery and each time he shows me the X-rays and explained the healing progress. He has taken great care of me and kept me informed through the whole process. I am healing well and using my wrist/hand more and more with minimal pain. The staff at both offices have been kind and informative.

Not sure what to think about my experience with Dr. Fokin. After my surgery I was sent home with not co clear instructions and he asked me to start therapy the very next day so I went to the therapy only to learn that he wrote in my chart that I should start therapy one week later and even though the PT’s spent a long time trying to talk to Dr. Fokin’s office, they couldn’t get any info so I ended going back home with no therapy done. Later on I learned that everything that I was told for post surgery care was against my best interest and it was actually hurting me. I called today to ask why is my knee so swollen and in so much pain only to be put on hold for 15 minutes by a very rude lady called Patricia who kept interrupting me every time I tried to explain my problem and ended putting me on hold again after I requested to talk to her manager. So, after 30 minutes I called to ask a simple question, I’m still on hold not knowing what to do. I would think twice before coming here

Dr. Alex Fokin did a super successful arthroscopic surgery on my right knee at the Memorial Hospital in Hollywood FL, the pain went away quickly after the surgery and i feel great, the more i do physio-therapy, the quicker I'm getting to the "back to normal" state. The recovery was much faster than i expected. I highly recommend him, he is very professional, highly qualified, an expert in his field and i was fortunate he operated and fixed my knee. Don't let just anyone do surgery on your leg, be careful, choose only a highly recommended doctor like Dr. Alex Fokin. I highly recommend him. He is the best in the field.

Dr. Fokin simply put is the best. Dr. Fokin performed a BTB ACL reconstruction on my right knee. I visited two other orthopedic surgeons before seeing Dr.Fokin and after speaking to him for 5 minutes I knew he was the surgeon I wanted performing my surgery. Dr. Fokin is also extremely accesible, a rarity among doctors, let alone surgeons in society today. I’ve contacted Dr. Fokin’s office twice prior and after surgery and each time Dr. Fokin personally reached out to me within in minutes! I am eternally grateful for him!
