I was happy with post ACL surgery follow up and the progress I’m making. Very comfortable with the doctor. Wish I would have been able to see him when I was first injured as the initial doctor did not properly diagnose me.

Dr. Alex Fokin is a superb orthopedic specialist. I will recommend him anyone who is searching for an Orthopedic surgeon with knee and shoulder problem. After He is in all respects neighborly and listens all around cautiously to the torment you are having. He likewise thinks about how the torment is affecting your life and offers you genuine responses. I would portray him as minding and he make sure his post operative patients are doing the physical therapy regularly. His staff is likewise phenomenal. His office is exceptionally sorted out with supportive and neighborly staff that attempt to help in the event that you experience difficulty getting referrals or have questions. In the wake of visiting Dr. Fokin, persistent does not have to search for some other second opinion since the vast majority of the patient consistently search for the subsequent feeling. There is no other second supposition in the wake of visiting Dr. Fokin with Orthopedic/sports surgery needs.

Dr. Alex Fokin is a great and caring doctor. I suffered for over ten year with left knee pain. I was told I was to young for replacement surgery. Dr. Fokin did not said that, he look over my chart and xrays and ask when do you want to do this. I'm now 7 weeks out of surgery. I have little to no pain and walking great. It took a great doctor and hard work. I've recommended him to people I know that need his help and will keep doing so.

Dr Fokin performed surgery on my left shoulder to treat my “frozen shoulder” and attach a torn ligament. The surgery was a 100% successful. I regained full motion on a shoulder that I could barely move prior to the surgery. My recovery is going well. Aside from being a brilliant surgeon Dr Fokin is a very attentive and caring post surgery. He is always available and goes the extra mile to make sure all is well. It is also necessary to mention that the office staffs in both offices are great. They are very caring, professional and pleasant. Overalls great experience.

I met with Dr.Fokin to evaluate instability and pain occurring in my shoulder. He suggested & performed a Bankart repair and I am grateful beyond measure that I chose such a brilliant man that LOVES his profession. He was extremely professional, attentive, PATIENT, kind and made me feel confident that one day I’d have a normal range of motion again. He’s very informative and will answer any questions without hesitation and takes his time with you as a patient. The surgery & recovery couldn’t have gone any better. If I’d had to do it all over again, I’d certainly do it in a blink of an eye. His staff and front desk are kind as well. Very welcoming office. He’s been a blessing for myself and my family & I’m so appreciative of everything he’s done for me. I cannot say anything but extraordinary things about Dr. Fokin, hands down..HE”S THE BEST ortho surgeon around! Do not hesitate to see Dr. Fokin for your orthopedic needs & care!!

I was in south Florida on vacation when a bad fall on the tennis court led me to a place I hadn’t been planning on visiting -the ER of Hollywood Memorial Regional Hospital. Dr Fokin performed a hip pinning surgery. he is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon- obviously knows his craft well, and has great hands, but perhaps just as important is his bedside manner. He is kind, courteous takes the time to listen to the patient, creating a confidence in the process that helps insure a good recovery. While I would not recommend falling on vacation, I most definitely would recommend Dr Fokin. My only regret is that I had to return home and couldn’t see Dr. Fokin for post-op follow up.

Dr. Fokin did plica surgery on my right knee in March 2019. The operation was very successful. My knee feels like it did when I was 12 years old. I am 57 now. The staff at Memorial West Physical Therapy was excellent. Not to fast, not to slow, just the right pace. Now I can bend my knee all the way to tie my shoes. Dr. Fokin you are my hero and Thank You for becoming a Doctor. I would definitely come back for any future Sports Medicine needs.

I was taken to Memorial Regional after an altercation with some folding chairs. Dr Alex Folkin was the surgeon. that operated on me repairing a shattered shoulder and re-attached a ligament to my bicept. Never met such a humble and caring doctor. His office staff was as dedicated to me as he was. His office staff arranged my physical therapy at memorial as well. What surprised me was when I posted a question on my chart and recieved a call from him instead of just a posted responce. Great guy
