Got a balloon kyphoplasty from Dr Aldo Beretta on 7/11/17 for a "compression fracture L1". Everything went fine from A to Z. Could go out by myself after 3 hours overall stay at the hospital and keep going as I used to do prior my bad fall. The only thing is that I did not get there any "Muffin"?

I would not recommend Dc. Baretta to anyone. He doesn't spend time with his patients. He lack of professionalism. I was waiting in the room for my results and I could hear him and his assistant making fun of me. While they were reviewing my results. Once he came in the room he said that it showed that my right side of my lower back was the cause and on all the other visits and the MIR results showers the left side. He doesn't pay attention to patients or to results. I would not recommend him.

Doesn't return calls or listen to his patient's AT ALL!
in fort myers, FL |
Dr. B used a few sentences to tell me that I have stenosis. He asked me to follow him to the computer outside the consultation room and showed me the MRI results. After that, he immediately led me to the front desk to pay. Before I knew it, the visit was over. I didn't even have a chance to ask a single question. His time must be very expensive.

I have been receiving shots from Dr. B. & they have given sm amt. of relief, but no more. Every step I have to take is excruciating! I suggest the "rooster comb" shots as a change. Was told that I 'd need to buy the medicine & was given Rx. Highly unusual practice for Dr. off. Wanted to try rooster comb shots but told they don't do them as not enough profit for them! Forgot about Hippocratic Oath I guess! Doesn't have best interest of patient at heart - only $$$ it seems. Go elsewhere!!!
in Estero,FL |
Went in to review my MRI results for him to tell me I'll need a cervical fusion sooner rather than later. At no point did he discuss the fact that I also had a high grade partial tear and sprain of the AC joint in my shoulder. He did suggest a cortisone shot which effects can further deteriorate the cartilage and weaken the tendon. Seems like this doc was very focused on some spinal surgery, but not a tear in my shoulder which is really the issue. Focus on Patient care is key..........

I would recommend dr beretta because he is direct and quick to help and fix your issues. He doesn't fool around. I would go back in a heartbeat.
in Bonita Springs |
Very professional, took care of my needs immediately, may have solved the problem! Fast and friendly service from the staff.
in Fort Myers, FL |
Dr. Barretta did my husbands knee surgery, May 2014. He was professional and as kind as a busy Dr can be. He got in and got it done and my husband thinks he is excellent and would use him again in a heart beat if he needs him.
He was decisive. Very pleasant, but direct. Did successful surgery. Never waited. Staff reflected his personality. Efficient, pleasant, but no nonsense.
