Left this appointment very unsatisfied. I asked to see my X-rays which had just been taken. They could not be brought up on the computer in the room I was in. I asked to be moved so I could see them. Dr Marr said he saw them and rather than make sure he showed them to me as requested so he could share what he saw, I felt he rushed on. He preformed an ablation on my ankle. I asked for my X-rays on a disc before I left. He did not remove all fluid and I am uncomfortable today. Ankle bone still swollen and warm.

My experience was terrible. The day of my surgery I didn’t see Dr Marr before or after the surgery and I’m not sure he even did it ,his PA could have done it for all I know . My foot started turning black Under the two ties that were butchered and when I went to his office about it I was told he was in surgery and there was no one there that could look at it . I finally got to see his PA two day’s after and he could care less what was going on with my toes. I would not go back to him if her were the last doctor in Wilmington !

Dr. Marr and his team were prompt and professional. Dr. Marr processes a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. I appreciated his direct approach in answering my questions and concerns. My only piece of advice would be to have the support team try to connect on a personal level, which I know may be difficult during these unusual covid-19 times ~

I highly recommend Dr. Marr & his staff. I was having stabbing neuropathic pain radiating from the middle of the foot down through my great toe. On the pain scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11. My joint space and its mobility was basically non-existent as I also had a developing bunion. On my visit with Craig Johnson, his PA, and Dr. Marr, they were in agreement that a metatarsal fusion and bunionectomy will fix the problem. Since I couldn't bend the great toe in the joint where it connects to the foot, I wasn't going to lose any function. The surgery went great. I had no post-op pain and only took the pain medication for two days. One note of caution: even though some activities may seem non-threatening while wearing the post surgical boot, you may need to put them off until you are in a regular shoe because it is a rigid boot. Just prior to my six week post-op appointment, I yanked a garden hose turning every body part from the knee up causing a possible meniscus tear in my knee.

Staff unprofessional & unconcerned about patients. Dr. is rushed & will only look at one problem per visit. Took me 2 months to get staff to agree to give me an appointment. I do not trust Dr. Maar's judgment in any aspect.

I came to ask for help with my knee, and they did my X-ray! He even didn't look my x-ray and told me that you can't tell what the problem! Why then you did it!!? To charge me money!? Told me that I need MRI!!! Later he saved my x-ray so that another doctor can not find it! And they have been going to do X-ray again!!! To expose me to radiation again!! They charge me money and told me that it is nothing wrong with my foot!! ( I came with foot problem and knee problem) Avoid him!

He is the only good doctor left at Orthowilmington. Really listens and gives solid treatments. I am a super complicated case. He works around my nerve damage like no other. Give him time. He always works his way up from least intrusive treatments. He has never failed me
