I have never seen such a lack of practicing standards of care. As a nurse I was appalled at the requirement to come in every 3 months when I have well controlled hypertension and no other health problems. The visits consisted of him asking if I needed prescriptions (which his records should have reflected he gave me on the previous visit with refills for a year) and charging me for an excessive office visit fee when he never examined me or even commented on my BP. My husband went in for a sinus infection was told he should have an echocardiogram, but he would need to sign a form accepting responsibility for payment because the insurance company probably wouldn't pay for it. Last time I checked a $1000 echo is not the standard of care for a healthy 63 year old with well controlled HBP and no health issues other than a sinus infection. BTW, the M.D. never laid hands on my husband either, so there was not a clinical rationale for ordering the test.

Dr Tannenbaum - great staff, very friendly. I have never had difficulty getting an appointment with Dr T. He does get busy due to the number of patients here in Cape Coral. Dr T. has a Ft Myers office and just opened an office in Punta Gorda. He might become stretched pretty far with only himself and three offices. I find Dr T to be competent but at times he does get pushed for time. Do recommend Dr T.

The office staff is rude and so unprofessional! Had a bad vibe the moment we walked in the door. Should have trusted our gut. The staff is incompetent, including administration, billing, and the medical staff. I would never recommend anyone using this medical facility.
