I have been seeing Dr. Rogers for four or five years. He has always been very kind, considerate and helpful. And always concerned with my health. And he always takes lots of time and thought at meetings. He is very thorough. And produces a plan for procedures each time. He is very clear on everything. I trust him completely.

Dr. Rogers is very thorough. He spends the time necessary to evaluate you, any illness you might have and to understand the context of your state of health. He does not direct you, but guides you in making health decisions. It was a completely pleasurable and (unfortunately for other doctors) surprising experience.

Dr. Rogers is over-rated. He misdiagnosed my mother's illness and we lost valuable time and needed to go to another doctor who took a better interest in solving her medical issue. He charges by the minute and when i tried to talk to him about his diagnosis, which ended up being very incorrect, he charged us for every minute. He is a boutique practice meaning he charges for everything and isn't as conscientious as out of pocket docs usually are. My mother eventually died because of lack of adequate and timely medicine in Santa Fe. Rogers never called her while she was declining to see how she was doing. He didn't even know we changed practice. His interest stops when the checks stop coming in, and he is hundreds of dollars per hour. Very disappointed with his analysis of her situation and follow through.

Dr. Rogers is the doctor I've been looking for since moving to Santa Fe 3 years ago. Though frustrated with being whisked around and about through nurses and nurse practitioners, all asking the same questions, I was ready to finally meet the doctor I thought might be the one. But he/she invariably spent little time with me, often had no promising solution to my ailments, and rarely replied to my questions with much assurance. Finally I met Dr. Alan Rogers. He's present. He listens. He asks the right questions. He's more than smart, organized, and well-informed. He's thorough. Personable. Open-minded. Following my first visit with him, the nagging thought that if I were ever to become seriously ill in Santa Fe, I'd have no doctor to call with much confidence, vanished. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers without reservation.
