Very compassionate, listening to all the details of all of my years of struggles. As a result, he was the one who was finally able to get my catamenial epilepsy diagnosed and under control! I have not been able to find anyone in my state who could help. He is extraordinarily compassionate and takes his time to listen to all the details of the patient information!

First Appointment, very optimistic. Dr. Jacobs does listen and wanted to help. He ordered good blood work. He gave a "possible diagnosis". Problem was he got upset and debated my experience, saying it just wasn't possible to have the symptoms I had when some other tests came back that he said showed otherwise. He would not adjust meds and I had serious complications that I still live with. He would not answer calls or emails for another appt. Receptionist could be dismissive.

After scheduling appointment, his nurse became angry when asked 1 question: 'When could I send office of Dr. Alan Jacobs my medical info?’ (Dr.'s website states he wants past/current medical info prior to meeting.) The nurse stated he only needed my name. When I asked her how he would treat me without any medical info, she stated 'he would do it with my medical info.' Confused by her answer, I asked again if I could send my medical info. She then became angered, said appt was canceled&ended call
