My son encountered difficulties during college days, school sent him to St. Joseph's where he was placed in the care of Dr. Feldman. Despite being the legal medical representative for my son and leaving numerous message to Dr. Feldman, we never saw nor spoke directly to Dr. Feldman. I believe he over medicated my son with meds developed by Otsuka American Pharmaceuticals. Managed to save our son by transferring doctors in time. BEWARE!

Worst doctor for this field! I have left numerous messages for him to call me concerning my brother whom he was treating and not once did he respond. . He discharged my brother without making sure he is on the right medication or is well after my family and I went through all the trouble to get my brother in the hospital . I will never recommend him to anyone unless you want him to kill your family ! He has no idea what he is doing ! His staff are so rude the worst I have ever dealt with!
I have no problems with Dr. Feldman. His staff, however, is awful. He recently hired a new woman to work for him named Nicole and she is rude and makes me incredibly uncomfortable. There have been several times I have called and she has told me she was his nurse and that I needed to tell her everything first before putting him on the phone. When I told her I was uncomfortable talking to her new symptoms from my meds, she became very short with me and said hung up without saying goodbye.

The following is my personal opinion. Dr Feldman is a very caring and compassionate person. Understanding the field of psychiatry inside of a system designed to treat as much as possible in a less a time as possible cause no one wants to be a psychiatrist any more. We should take responsibility for our own health it should come naturally. He is after all human. Treatment centers are for correcting behavior. Psychiatrists should only be for updating progress and meds. Working together for u
