Dr. Nemi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist in Cornea, Cataract & Refractive Surgery. He received his fellowship training at the prestigious Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, GA, which ranks as one of the top eye centers in the country. He is the Director of Ophthalmology at Emory Johns Creek and WellStar North Fulton Hospitals and his areas of expertise include cataract surgery, laser vision correction, corneal transplantation, and management of corneal and external eye diseases.
Born and raised in upstate New York, he completed his undergraduate education at Tufts University in Boston, MA, where he graduated summa cum laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He completed an MD/MBA dual-degree program at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. After finishing an internship in New York City, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Nemi is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). His scientific research has been presented at several international Ophthalmology meetings. He looks forward to providing the highest quality medical and surgical eye care to his patients in the North Atlanta region.
