Dr. Raney saved my life. I had a emergency ascending aortic dissection procedure. I had a separating 6mm Aortic Aneurysm in my ascending aorta. When I arrived to the ER I was fully dissecting. Dr. Raney was paged late in the evening for my operation. It lasted for about eight hours and was finished about 7am. I cant imagine staying focused around the clock like that. He had to replace my aortic heart valve and use a prosthetic mesh material to replace a large portion of my ascending aorta.

Dr. Aidan A. Raney performed a third open heart surgery on me to replace my mitral valve. Dr. Raney answered all of my questions prior to surgery. Even though he has a very busy schedule, I never got the feeling that he was rushing me through. He even met with me for an additional 15 minute appointment because I needed clarification on some of the procedures. At the conclusion of the surgery, he answered all of my family's questions.

Dr. Raney is the top surgeon in California and has earned this reputation from over 30 years of practice after attending Stanford and performing th first heart transplants in Orange County. I know this only because I researched him prior to meeting with him. Dr. Raney came highly recommend and did an excellent job in his surgery on me.
