Only met him once. Set us to his nurse practitioner. Went in for a very pricey EEG he wanted and he wasn't even in town to read, but was in Morocco. He hired a different neurologist to read it. Didn't seem to want to help, but was more in it for the money. He spent a total of 10 minutes in our initial appointment and was very harsh. Suggested putting on a level of medication that was way above needed. It caused depression and lots of other neurologists in the area were shocked.
I am sorry that you feel this way and that your needs occurred at a time when I was out of the country. I did have an excellent physician covering my services who is part of our group and also specializes in Epilepsy. I treat each patient with individualized care and do my best to find the appropriate treatment option. Not every physician will look at the problem the same way, nor prescribe the same medications. I apologize for your experience and I hope that you have found ideal treatment.
