She then worked for several years as an acute care and general surgeon at Ochsner before completing a fellowship in endocrine surgery through a combined program through the Medical College of Wisconsin, Duke University and University of Wisconsin — Madison. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Southeastern Surgical Congress, the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the California Medical Association. She is board-certified in Surgery."

My 18 year old son had a challenging surgery and Dr. Oboku-Boateng knew what to do. Not only is she medically smart she has a wonderful bedside manner which meant a lot to an 18 year old boy who didn't sink he's be waking up from emergency abdominal surgery

I had a friend who had a successful operation under Dr. O-B. I believe her to be conscientious. However, for the sake of anybody considering her I must tell you that I went to see her for hernia repair. While under the knife, she punctured my bladder (or nicked it, as they put it); I had to stay...more
