I have seen several doctors in my 52 years and Dr. Carter is by far the worst. I tried to ignore her lack of bed side manners. I was very sick and actually thought I was dying recently. She told me to come in three weeks. WTH!!! I could have been dead in three weeks. She has a very uncaring attitude and I am not sure how she is a dr. She is in the wrong field. Dr. Carter had the nerve to call me in 3 RX and had not seen me. According to my new dr. What she called in wasn't going to do anything.

I have dealt with her rudeness and nonchalant attitude for over a year! She's never in the office, always referring you here and there ( Referral QUEEN - REPEATED BY MUTIPLE DOCTORS), no follow up on serious matters, short, snappy, never show any sign of concern, not compassionate at all, never respond to concerns at check ups, walks out bluntly no good bye or Nothing!!! Will never go back to her she's a joke right along with Cassandra's smart attitude !! Total waste of insurance!

I would never ever recommend her to anyone. Her attitude stinks. She is definitely in the wrong profession attending to the sick. I was not impressed at all. How she is on staff is mind boggling.
Atlanta, GA |
Dr. Carter is rude and so is her nurse Cassandra. They are inpersonable. They rushed. They were short and snappy. Do not go see her if you want a kind respectful physician.
in Birmingham |
Dr. Carter does not appear to be a competent doctor. If you present a problem to her, she may refer you for lab work and does not follow up other the results or get in touch with you regarding the results or make recommendations. Overall, I don't have confidence in her as a physician. I plan to find another internal medicine doctor.
in Dora Al |
Dr Carter is a physician who will listen and answer all your questions. I think her professionalism is greater than any I've seen in the Birmingham area. I would recommend Dr Carter and her staff to all my family and friends.
Birmingham, AL |
Does not have very good bedside manner. Examinations are quick and not thorough. Does not address any lab results from previous visits. Did not show any concern for the patient.
