Dr. Yates performed a total hip reconstruction for me in a complicated case. He was thorough in preparations and the surgery went well. He requires patients to stay in hospital a little longer than some, but he has excellent infection and success rates and he was spoken of very respectfully by hospital staff during my stay. Shadyside hospital was terrific.
