Dr. Samad is fantastic! Professional, caring, and skilled. Dr. Samad cares about his patients and responds in their best interests. Intervention was stressed first (alternative treatment methods). When no other options worked, surgery was agreed upon to repair the damaged area. I am so glad to have Dr. Samad looking out for me. Surgery was a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Samad! Thank you!!!

I just saw Dr Samad for the first time last month. I had completely lost faith in Florida Orthopedic due to dealing with a different doctor, Dr Samad restored it. He listened to me, explained things to me and didn't try to dismiss my pain and issues. I ended up needing surgery and he fit me in as soon as possible. He personally called me and explained things and also personally checked up on me after. I would highly suggest him for anyone that needs a spine orthopedist or surgeon. His staff is also very kind and quick to get back to you.

I am very satisfied with the care offered from the very first visit, he gave his assessment along with options, which I chose to try first. After exploring pain management without success, surgery was schedule. Procedure went as planned. Hospital stay was 5 days, first three weeks were difficult but am progressing well at 5 1/2 weeks gaining strength and function daily. Will have first outpatient PT evaluation this coming week. Many thanks to Dr. Samad and his staff.

I came in for a second opinion for a spinal procedure. My original surgeon wanted to fuse my spine and Doctor Samad said that was completely unnecessary. Dr. Samad said the problem can be fixed with minimal invasive surgery. Even better, it was done outpatient when the other surgeon wanted to keep me in the hospital for a minimum of three days.

I have been dealing with chronic back and leg pain for over 8 years. I have had three back surgeries in which they would remove herniated and bulging disks to help relieve the pain in the past. My pain Dr. suggested that I go to Dr. Samad. The experience from the very start was outstanding. The facility is top notch and the staff is kind and fantastic to deal with. Dr. Samad is very thorough. He was very kind and willing to give me all the time I needed to answer my questions and make sure I understood what he recommended for treatment. Due to the complexity of the surgery he also consulted with Dr. Tresser. It was very comforting knowing that I had two of Tampa's best spine surgeons working together on my case and ultimately both participating in my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Samad to anybody looking for a spine surgeon. Both surgeons also come highly recommended from Doctors that I worked with during the pre-surgery process.

I spent years experiencing shoulder pain. Then I started experiencing pain and numbness in my arm as well. I was referred to Dr. Samad and developed a trust immediately. He kept me informed of exactly what every test was for and how it would proceed. After trying physical therapy it became obvious I would need surgery. Still informed of everything to expect I felt confident I was in very good hands. Surgery results were far more than I had expected. I would highly recommend him.

I'm a 62 yr old male that had chronic lower back pain for 10+ yrs, I dealt with the pain until the sciatic nerve started bothering me. Dr. Samad wanted to fuse L4 L5 / S1 but my Insurance Company CIGNA didn't go for that. The "almighty" Cigna insurance would only authorize L5 / S1. The surgery Dr. Samad performed had a Vascular Surgeon open me up through the stomach to gain access to the front of my spine for the Rods/Plate. Doing the surgery in this manor made my recovery time only about 6 wks.

It has been exactly 2 weeks since Dr. Samad operated on my spine and I am doing so much better. My back and leg pain is gone. My balance is greatly improved and I am now walking without the assistance of a walker. Prior to the surgery, I had pain that fluctuated from 1 to 10 and my poor balance caused several falls. I would recommend Dr. Samad to anyone with back problems.

Dr Samad recently performed Anterior Cervical surgery for me and I’m very satisfied with the results. I’m feeling better each day and so many of the problems I was having in the neck/head area have been resolved. He’s a very caring doctor, explains procedures very well and he came to check on me everyday I was in the hospital. He was in contact regularly with the nurses as to my care/condition. Would highly recommend Dr Adil Samad. He is the best.

I called FOI to get a second opinion for my back pain which began after a motor vehicle accident. That was my lucky day because they scheduled me with Dr. Samad. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He does not automatically jump to the "knife" to fix the problem. Talking to him is like talking to a trusted family member. He truly cares about his patients.

I was experiencing lower back pain for years. The pain worsened and I had pain and numbness in my left leg. I made an appointment to see Dr. Samad, he ordered all the tests he needed to diagnose me correctly. Once all test were in he explained to me what the problem was and a plan of action. He performed a fusion of L4 and L5. After surgery 100% of pain I had before surgery was gone. I am 7 weeks post op and doing very good. I would highly recommend Dr. Samad.
