This content was provided by Dr. Shapira "Dr. Adam Shapira received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Princeton University. He completed his MD at the University of Louisville, his internal medicine internship and residency at UT Southwestern's Parkland Hospital, and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville. He then completed a two year fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Loyola University in Chicago, where he served his final year as the chief electrophysiology fellow. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of clinical cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.  Dr. Shapira has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation and has co-authored a book chapter about the safety concerns surrounding this procedure. Additional professional interests include technological advances in arrhythmia ablation, ventricular tachycardia ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, and device-based management of heart failure."

Dr Shapira is an amazing physician. He had excellent staff and great bedside manner. He made me feel at ease about my procedure and I trusted him completely. I had suffered my entire life with my heart condition and he fixed it and I'm able to live life to the fullest now.
