I was referred to Dr. Schaaf at Low Country Orthopedics from my primary physician and learned I had a "slap tear" as well as a torn rotator cuff. I had the surgery and couldn't have been happier with Dr. Schaaf. The entire procedure from surgery to recovery (about 5 months) was flawless. Dr. Schaaf and his PA were very informative, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I definitely will seeing Dr. Schaaf for any future orthopedic needs. I would recommend he and Low Country Orthopedics to anyone.

Dr Schaaf is very caring and makes you feel at ease. Recently had shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago and he did a great job. Discomfort for the first week or so and now on Tylenol occasionally. Would definitely recommend Dr Schaaf .

Dr Schaaf is a very caring doctor. He does his very best to listen, diagnose and treat the patients condition. He doesn't stop at surgery but follows up until the patient is able to go back to normal everyday functions. He is without a doubt one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of working with.

Dr. Schaaf was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain my knee problem and the surgery necessary to fix it. He has a great personality and wonderful bedside manner which made me feel very comfortable and less anxious. After surgery Dr. Schaaf made sure that I understood all the post op instructions and followed up that evening to see how I was doing.
