Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Pourcho "Adam Pourcho, DO, is a board certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of sports and musculoskeletal related injuries. Dr. Pourcho did his fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He treats everyone from elite athletes to weekend warriors and those wishing to start a new workout program.

Dr. Pourcho has specialized training in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, which he uses to provide precise, minimally invasive treatments, such as platelet-rich-plasma, intra-articular, perineural, and peritendinous injections. He has specialized training from Mayo Clinic with the newly developed Tenex® TX-1 Device (Tenexhealth.com), which uses ultrasound-guidance to provide minimally invasive treatments for chronic tendinopathies, such as lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) and plantar fasciitis.  He also provides sports concussion management, sports and team event coverage, EMG and electrodiagnostics for neurological injuries, and Osteopathic Manual Manipulations. He believes that the needs of the patient are the only concern."

Wow what a great patient experience. I second what is said below. He was awesome. Did stem cells on my hip and literally has cured my arthritis. I feel like an 18 year old again. He had a great bedside manor, not in anyway boorish as stated below. My thought is the patient was off and not the...Read More

Dr. Pourcho is rushed, impatient, rough, and boorish. He pushes adjustments and procedures. He doesn't listen; he forms an opinion 30 seconds after entering the exam room and then dismisses anything that doesn't fit. He's a true believer in "mindfulness" rehab where CBT conquers all pain and...Read More

Dr. Pourcho is sometimes hard to get in to see. There is a reason for this. He is the best. He not only covers two professional teams in seattle, but also I have had multiple of my doctors say that they are seeing him as well. So for patient unwilling to wait, this is a huge mistake. I promise this...Read More
