Compassionate & Professional
I have been going to Dr. Phillips for about a year now for vascular issues and found him to be compassionate and professional at the same time. He genuinely listened to any concerns I had and answered any questions that arose. I have now seen much improvement since my treatments with him. I would highly recommend Dr. Phillips for any vascular issues.

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. It perforated. Dr. Phillips removed a bit of my large intestine leaving me with a temp colostomy. In a nutshell, he saved my life. 3.5 months later he reversed the colostomy and walked me through the recovery process. My progress has been stellar thanks to him. His clear explanations, professionalism, sense of humor, but mostly his surgical skills are why I would not only recommend him---but suggest you seek him out for your procedure. He's the best!

Came to GULf Coast Memorial Hospital on September 4th. Surgery was suggested. Dr Phillips was in my room with diagnosis treatment and prognosis. He came to my room every day and explained the needed surgery to me and my husband. He was accessible and kind. He made an emergency hospital stay less anxious and uncomfortable.

Dr. Phillips made me very comfortable from my first visit. He explained just what would happen with my hernia surgery and within a week I had the required tests prior to surgery. He is an excellent, caring doctor who explained my dos and donuts with a smile on his face. Surgery went smoothly and I was home the same day. I had very little discomfort and feel like myself in just two weeks, with minor restrictions. I have just recommended him to a friend of mine who needs similar surgery.

Dr. Phillips is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. He was kind and very sensitive to my fears and showed me respect and compassion. These are qualities that are seldom found anymore. His nurse Bridget was also very nice. She held my hand and helped me through the painful procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Phillips and the Surgical Arts Healing Center.

I had hiatal hernia repair & Dr. Phillips was my surgeon. My 1st appointment was early November but my surgery wasn't until February 27th. Regardless of the 4 month delay, (holidays and me) Dr. Phillips was proactive in ordering tests, prescribing the necessary medications and guiding me through pre op and post op instructions. His follow up has been thorough, from addressing all my concerns promptly to his expertise. He scores excellent in the statements below. I am grateful to him.
