Dr. Luginbuhl is true professional that is really on top of his game. A caring and very detailed oriented doctor. More than willing to take the time to explain the treatments and great follow up right after the operation. I would highly recommend him to anyone inflicted by vocal cord cancer.

Dr. Luginbuhl was the third ENT I visited for a mass in my throat. He took one look at it pretty much knew immediately it was malignant. Eight days later I was in the OR having it removed. He was an exceptional physician and I felt extremely confident being under his care. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Luginbuhl is not only an excellent surgeon, but a kind and compassionate man. After my cancer surgery, he has been evaluating me on a regular basis for almost two years now. He always explains everything thoroughly, and has a way of putting me at ease. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Luginbuhl along with Dr. Joseph Curry treated my husband for a chondrosarcoma of the larnyx. They reconstructed his airway and voicebox using muscle and bone from his forearm. The surgery took 13 + hours. They worked tirelessly to and save his voice and swallowing function. We traveled 2.5 hours to see them. My husband is only 44. Drs. In our area would not touch him being that it is such a rare cancer. We are more then grateful for their efforts. Hoping and praying that when the stent comes out that he will have function again. They are both AMAZING! Also kept me well informed along the way!

Dr. Luginbuhl is by far one of the most amazing physicians I have ever come in contact with. I literally felt at ease for the first time in nearly 20 years dealing with paraganglioma tumors and how the gene mutation works within the family tree. He truly is special and not only takes the time in person, but I would not be surprised if he calls you every so often when in the midst of the follow ups. He is truly fantastic.

Dr. Luginbuhl is skilled and compassionate. He performed a surgery to remove a non-cancerous tumor from my parotid gland. He set my mind at ease from the moment he walked into the room. The surgery went very well and healed within a month. I am so glad I had it done by Dr. Luginbuhl and the Jefferson team!

Dr. L treated me for stage 4 throat cancer, and I give him my highest recommendations in all areas! He was caring, considerate, realistic, and took time to explain diagnosis and treatment options with myself and family. Dr. L nailed the diagnosis and treatment (confirmed by a second opinion at Penn). There was no sign of cancer after 7 months from diagnosis and treatment! The team approach at Jeff, with a nurse leading and coordinating between doctors worked very well. Simply the best!!
