Dr. Farris grew up in West Virginia and obtained his undergraduate degree from Marshall University. He went on to West Virginia University for medical school and then made his way to Birmingham to complete his residency in Anesthesiology and his Interventional Pain fellowship at UAB. Dr. Farris' interest in pain management started in medical school, but it was really in his residency that he was able to see the profound impact that sound interventional techniques and procedures can have on a person's quality of life.
