Dr. Dachman's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Dachman "Dr. Adam Dachman was destined to be a physician. From a young age he had a fascination with healthcare, human anatomy and surgery. Brought up in a family of multiple physicians and healthcare workers, Adam pursued the life of a surgeon. A formal medical education at the Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery was completed in 1990. An aggressive surgical residency at Beaumont Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan (Michigan State University) was completed in 1995. Adam joined the medical staff at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI in 1995 (Memorial Hospital of Iowa County). Since joining the healthcare team in Southwest Wisconsin, Adam has brought over 40 new surgical procedures to the community, served as Chief of Surgery for over 20 years, directed the clinic staff in surgery and cared for thousands of residents from all over the world. Patients have traveled from near and far to receive care from Dr. Dachman. Receiving awards for patient care multiple years, Dr. Dachman continues to focus on the doctor-patient relationship each day. A national speaker on the subject, he considers time with patients to be a sacred trust and bond. Respecting individual beliefs, preferences and modesty are but a few aspects of his bed side manner. Providing patients and their families with excellent education is a top priority during consultations and hospital care. With over 25 years of surgical experience, Adam is a provider who blends excellence with experience, ability with good judgement and compassion with care."
