Told me to try OTC for crippling migraines. Knowing OTC does not work, I all but begged for a Rx of the medicine I know works (I have relocated to Fairhope and my Rx had expired). He told me to call if I truly need Rx. When I called to request a fill, I was told I had to pay for yet another Dr visit before he would write anything. Truly running a racket; attempting to rack up as much in payment as possible, with no care for patients well being. Poor bedside manner, log wait time as well.

Dr. Kasmia is exceedingly thorough in analysis of data and in interpretation of data. Discussions of MRI results were visually informative, presented in "plain" language. I found him to be engaging in conversation, and with a sense of humor when appropriate. Wait times can be an issue but I suspect these are a direct result of his thoroughness in the patient exam process.

Dr. Kasmia was very professional and courteous. He accurately diagnosed me with Parkinson's and prescribed the correct medicine that enabled me to almost stop shaking and walk much better. Dr. Kasmia is direct in discussing your issues but that is what is needed when dealing with medical issues.

Incredibly long wait, over an hour. Poor beside manner, and staff is not knowledgeable in regards to referall process, 3rd party testing procedures, and insurance billing. Overall very difficult office to work with, however it was a referall through Veterans Choice program.

New patients are only scheduled in the morning, I had to take off 2 hrs early from work , for an appointment , when the doctor was over 2 hrs late seeing me ! Also , it is ridiculous to sign a paper stating we would be charged $45 for not showing up when the doctor doesn't show any courtesy on being on time ! I certainly will not recommend this doctor ....

My mother was diagnosed with ALS. Dr. Kasmia wouldn't prescribe pain or sleeping meds to help with this extremely painful and drawn-out fatal disease. Instead, he recommended she try over the counter melatonin for sleeping and take aspirin. After we asked for another medication, he prescribed trazodone, an antidepressant. We tried to get a motorized wheelchair through a medical company and were denied multiple time by his office.

Poorly run office. Wait time in a full waiting room often about two hours. Recently Dr Kasmia required both my wife and me to be present to review some test results. After spending over half a day with travel and wait time learned test had not been ordered. I will not return. dr
