He was extremely caring, informative and patient with my father who had a stroke. I found him answering my questions in a very thorough and honest way. I appreciated the time he spent explaining the possible outcome.

He is the best and he has given genuine advice. It shows knowledge conquers all. He is pleasant and I travelled from all way from the UK to see him.

If I could give this doctor lower stars I would. Consistently overbooked. I never seen him because I left 3 appointments for being 2-3 hours behind. His staff is unprofessional. They speak Spanish, covertly about patients running behind schedule. If you have been referred here, I'd suggest calling your insurance and request another neurologist covered by your insurance. DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.

I have yet to see Dr Mehdi. The first 3 appointments I have had, he was either running behind or out on call and running behind. I had to reschedule because of how late it was getting. I'm talking about waiting in the waiting room 2 hours AFTER my scheduled appointment and still not even being called back. I have an appointment today, again. If I do not get seen again because he is running behind, I'm going to request a new doctor. Consistently running behind 2hrs is unacceptable.

Personally and professionally I have found Dr Mehdi to be a thorough, patient, thoughtful, compassionate, brilliant man. I'm sure he studied VERY hard, as well as the high cost, and sacrifice of time and energy, to become an expert Neurologist. Why then, would he ALLOW such sloppy, tired looking, unprofessional office staff? After several visits with my father, it became evident that they weren't just having a "bad day" We endured, trash TV programming, staff conversations, and work areas. ;-(

he is the bestest dr i wish his the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s from Dr.narjis
      Madera, CA |
Dr. Mehdi's office schedules appointments for when he is not in the office and not likely to be in the office for quite a while. I've taken my mother to him several times, and we have never had less than an hour wait, often almost 2 hours. Once he finally gets in, the amount of time he spends with patients is minimal. I've asked to speak with him separately from my mother (Alzheimer's) several times and have never had that opportunity.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
