Awesome Care
I didn't realize what I was missing until I saw Dr Kapur. She gave me such insight that I had not ever had before with a therapist. I finally got my meds adjusted right and now that I have the right combination I can function so much better at work. I loved her office decor and her staff and therapist was so friendly.

I saw Dr Kopur for roughly a year. She was incredibly expensive (I have insurance) and NEVER remembered me, nor had any recollection of previous visits. I had a card on file, a flex health savings account card. I discontinued use in Dec '21. She changed office staff around Jan '22. The new lady NEVER let me know my card kicked out. I called multiple times to run payments, she always confirmed it went thru. NEVER told me my account was delinquent or had a balance until Dr Kopur reported it to claims. I told her I absolutely could not afford to live and pay the balance all at once, and needed to do it in chunks. Instead she would have her office staff charge the full amount and I could call to have it reversed. She said this was because we did not make an official payment agreement and dropped me once I paid the balance stating I needed to seek other care because I needed treatment for my "extreme" mental health issues. Don't waste your time

Dr. Kapur is warm, caring and compassionate. She takes her time with me and has been a savior over these past couple years. Thank you SO much, Dr. K She just got a beautiful new office and I'm in awe of my surroundings everytime I go. It is the perfect place for therapy.

Finally!! Have been through 3 psychiatrist all that wanted to change my med that I had been on for 10 years and was stable (had to change Dr.'s as mine retired). Dr. Kapur did a thorough review of my medical history and agreed nothing should be changed if it is working!! Love her!

I would not recommend Dr Kapur. She is arrogant and cold. She rushes through your appointment. She is very unprofessional. I would not leave her at star at all, but the system is requiring me to in order to submit a review

I would not recommend Dr. Kapur she is arrogant and cold. When I ask for a medical records release, she would not send one. She was difficult and played games. She is very unprofessional. I would not give her one star, but the system is making me in order to submit the review.

My mom wanted me to see a psychiatrist as i was struggling adapting to college and trying to get out of an abusive teenage relationship. I was depressed and scared. Ever so grateful that she is a Dr AND a counselor as she was to help me realize my empowerment as a female and what was causing my depression. When I come home from college I always swing to say hello to the woman who probably saved my life!

I've been seeing psychiatrists for over 8 years across the USA and without a doubt, Dr. Aarti Kapur in Burlington, NC is the absolute worst I have had to deal with. In addition to being downright MORE EXPENSIVE than comparable doctors, her office is always finding ways to nickel and dime you. After missing an appointment, her office would NOT LET ME GET ON THE SCHEDULE for a new appointment until I paid a mandatory LATE fee ($125+). When I asked them to send me my medical records, they said it would be TEN DOLLARS for paper and ink to print them out and they can only fax them to another doctor without charge with no electronic option. Obviously, this is a lie, because I work in software and all the major healthcare application allow an export to PDF option, and it is simply a way to make more money. This in addition to her poor attitude, rude demeanor and generally unhelpful and useless council. She is so incredibly bad I am now having my General prescribe me my maintenance meds.

Dr. Kapur immediately knew that another doctor had prescribed one wrong medication and the wrong dosage of another. Extremely intelligent, but also very personable. I couldn't image my state or quality of life if she was not my doctor!

I don't know if there is enough I can say about Dr Kapur. She helped my friend out when she was in a dark place and I cannot thank her enough for that. She seems dedicated and passionate about working with patients and makes a difference in their lives. She gave my friend her life back

Awesome Doctor! Dr Kapur has such compassion and is very caring. She was available to me 24/7 and I definitely owe my life to her. She was so incredibly and I would highly recommend her. They say she is the best!

Went to see her to discuss getting an ADHD medication I'd previously been getting from another physciatrist in a different city. She told me I'd have to take a ridiculously expensive test from a specific person (we're talking $100s of dollars) despite the fact that I already had a DSM diagnosis in a written letter from my counselor. She didn't even read it, and said she'd only accept the expensive test. She also charged me the full rate for every session, even though it was all futile.

Dr. Kapur is a wonderful physician. She really cares about her patients and takes the extra time and effort to make sure they feel her personal attention. She is always available and has taken wonderful care of my college aged son. I would HIGHLY recommend her.
