I'm 70 yrs old, have numerous arthritis, scoliosis and inflammation issues. Dr Dykstra is extremely knowledgeable in types of arthritis, gout, autoimmune diseases affecting joints. I may get brave and have him do carpal tunnel surgery before I have to have shoulder surgery. VERY impressed. Discussed steroid shots vs meds, he clarified alot. Larry

I am two weeks out from having bilateral carpal tunnel surgery. It was performed with a local anesthetic and blood pressure cuff acting as a surgical tourniquet. I had NO anesthesia 'hang over'. I was able to watch the procedure and had absolutely no pain. Recovery time has been cut in half. I was off work for 4 days. I work as in accounting. When he asked if I would consider the same method of surgery again, I replied with a resounding YES! I highly recommend Dr. Dykstra and BHOSC!

Dr. Dykstra is very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable about my condition. I feel very comfortable talking to him. He does not make you feel like he is in a hurry to get on to the next patient. I would highly recommend he and his staff to anyone. Randy, his tech, is very pleasant and always greats you with a big smile. They make you feel very important.
