I had severe leg and lower back pain due to arthritis and degenerative disease of the spine. A herniated disk was discovered. Once we arrived at the conclusion that surgery was required to fix the issues causing the pain, it was an easy process to prep and go through surgery. On the day of surgery, I was in and out within 24 hours. Recovery time was a couple of days to discontinue all meds for post surgery pain that really wasn’t that bad and then a couple of weeks for the incision to heal. In my case, I could shower right away. My leg and lower back pain from the herniated disk is totally gone. Extremely pleased.

Glad I was under his care. Dr. Aaron Bianco is a great orthopedic surgeon, with excellent bedside manners, explaining everything in detail in terms which patients without medical background can easily understand. He has a great team of PAs in his team. The nurses on my floor all leaned over backwards to accomodate me and ease my situation, pre- and post-op.

I saw Dr. Bianco for low back pain. He exceeded my expectations which were already high because of the high ratings he has. He is very easy to talk to and takes an interest in and listens to his patients. He reviewed my MRI and Xray. He advised me that surgery was not a good option and arranged for a consultation with a Pain Management group that he works with. I recommend Dr. Bianco to anyone with back pain who wants an honest evaluation.

I was impressed with Dr. Bianco with our very first meeting. He is so thorough to be sure I understand my condition and what my options are. He never acts like he's in a rush, he intently listens to my questions or concerns, and explains things in terms I can understand. He reviews my MRI's with me, and explains my condition. A previous dr. wanted to rush me into surgery, but Dr. Bianco said I didn't need it yet, I'm doing good. He's got a great bedside manner, and I trust his judgment completely.

Dr. Bianco is unbelievably thorough. After 1 surgeon said there was nothing wrong and another saying I was bruised up from the incident. After months of excruciating pain Dr. Bianco was able to pinpoint the problem. He exhausted all other options before surgery because of my age. Unfortunately it came to surgery but I wouldn't want anyone else doing the surgery. Dr. Bianco is very professional and extremely intelligent. He will also talk to you and treat you like one of his family members. Overall he is a unbelievably a great doctor and his PAs and nurses are a great extension of Dr. Bianco. I would recommend Dr. Bianco to anyone that has a back injury that needs attention.

Dr. Bianco is the most kind and compassionate M.D. I have ever met. He always allows adequate time to explain diagnosis, treatment , risks and benefits and expected outcome. He is a great asset to the SOS Orthopedic practice. His ancillary staff are also very kind, expedient and professional. I have had back issues for 25 + years and he is my 2nd orthopedic who has treated me. I am so thankful that when I looked for a new Spine surgeon that I was put on his schedule.
