Worst experience. Both he and his PA Ryan. It's a mill. Told by another Dr on their staff knees in good shape, just small meniscus repair. Left me bone on bone in extreme pain but kind of brushed it off. Ended up with knee replacement at another Dr. Dr. Bates office has never followed up

After 5 visits, x-rays, and an MRI with Dr Bates and Ryan I continued to express that it was more than a "hamstring sprain" "IT band inflammation" or "bursitis." I finally found another Dr that with 1 visit diagnosed an ACL tear. I wasted money and time while being in pain because of them.

Dr. Bates is a fantastic surgeon. He was recommended to me by other surgeons and hospital staff. My surgery went great and I am still pain free. Easy guy to talk to, loves sports, and extremely knowledgable in medicine. Thank you Dr. Bates

Neither Dr. Bates or his PA Ryan had the time of day. My first surgery did not fix all of the issues. Dr. Bates spent minimal time with me and Ryan scoffed off my concerns as weakness. I required a second surgery. I went elsewhere. A friend of mine also required a second surgery after Bates. Both of our issues were the same as far as what he told us. Wait time was always 35 minutes or more. No communication when they run behind.

I am extremely please with the level of care I have received. The surgery went so well, I was able to go home the same day. Dr. Bates assistant,Ryan, was great with me and I highly recommend him as well. My overall experience was outstanding. My left shoulder is far better now than before the surgery. Looking forward to have the right shoulder replaced when the pain gets to the point where I have had enough of it.

Dr. Bates was extremely concerned about my issue. His explanation of the surgery and subsequent treatment was in laymens terms so that I could easily understand the process. I would definitely recommend him.

Absolutely recommend Dr Bates. He is my hero. I suffered severe pain for almost a year and a half. I had also heard many horror stories about shoulder replacements, and was very reluctant to get one. After talking with Dr Bates the only option was stay in pain or get the surgery. I saw him on a Friday and had the surgery the following Thursday. It has been six weeks since my surgery and to date there has been no pain. Physical therapy, no pain. I thank Dr Bates with all my heart.

This is a doctor that likes making a lot of appointment doesn't listen to his patients when when they say they don't want shots or pills thinks everyone has a job like his pushing a pencil. Has you wait in his office for 2 hours why his interns do his job be ready to repeat yourself 3 times for them not to listen to you. Appointments are easy to make because it's a guarantee Co payment in his pocket took x-rays but doesn't go over them with you
