Dr. Dougherty's Biography — Dr. Samantha Dougherty joined Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center in 2016. She specializes in pre- and post-operative care for LASIK patients and participates in cataract post-operative care. Dr. Dougherty provides comprehensive eye care. Dr. Semenick's Biography — Dr. Kristen Semenick is a 2000 graduate of The Pennsylvania College of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Southern Arizona VA Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. After working for the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in private practice, Dr. Semenick joined Delaware Eye Care Center in 2005. She has a special interest in ocular disease as well as alternative and complementary medicine. Dr. Semenick has been a member of the American Academy of Optometry since 2000. Dr. Semenick took time away from private practice in 2015 to work in a more academic setting, teaching students and residents at the Southern Arizona VA Medical Center. She held associate faculty positions at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, the Southern California College of Optometry, and the State University of New York College of Optometry during that time.

Dr. Otojare's Biography — Dr. Chinye Otojare joined Delaware Eye Care in August 2016. She has more than 10 years of comprehensive experience providing patient care in clinical settings, both in the US and internationally. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Optometry from The New England College of Optometry Boston Massachusetts with honors and also completed a Residency Program in Ocular Disease at Huntington VA Medical Center, Huntington West Virginia.
